Dehenna Davison, MP for Bishop Auckland, was elected as Vice Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Sport at its AGM on Wednesday 22nd January.

Speaking after the event, Dehenna said:

Dehenna has been lobbying to have the Union Jack flown to mark our exit from the European Union on January 31st.

The Minister of State for Prisons and Probation, Lucy Frazer, has discussed today the investigation into the Deerbolt Prison riot with Dehenna.

On Thursday I addressed Parliament for the first time in the Health and Social Care debate and delivered my maiden speech.

We all have personal stories about how the NHS has helped us throughout our lives. My most memorable, if emotional, experience was seeing the incredible care given to my Nan when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2014.

On the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, we remember the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in The Great War. 

In the first few moments after waking, whilst the dream fog clears, coherent thoughts are often absent. What is there, though, is a feeling, a mood. And this morning the mood was glum.
