Dehenna Davison MP returned to Barnard Castle School on Friday to talk to another batch of politics students. Davison last visited back in March to answer questions from another group, but came back to ensure no-one missed out.
Covering topics like electoral reform, education and criminal justice, the students were incredibly engaged in some of the key issues of our times. The Bishop Auckland MP, also the Under-Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, answered these concerns and talked a bit about her day-to-day responsibilities. It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about what a political career can look like.
Dehenna Davison MP said:
"The staff and students at Barnard Castle School are always so welcoming. Together, we had a really in-depth discussion about the topics that mattered to the students."
"I am sure there was a future Member of Parliament for Bishop Auckland in that hall somewhere!"
