“I am delighted to see so many residents support their local businesses. We have seen a real range of industries nominated, from hardware shops to tanning salons and axe throwing, this competition just highlights the fantastic small businesses and talent we have here in the constituency of Bishop Auckland.
Our highstreets are key in the strength of both our local and national economy and it's great to see so many people supporting them. I have written to the top ten nominees and am excited to see what happens as we open the next round of voting!”
